Greyburn Appointed Award Winning Isle of Capri Project

Isle of Capri’s largest residential project in more than three decades is moving full steam ahead with local builder Greyburn appointed and construction set to kick off this side of Christmas.

Developed by Gold Coast based Monaco Property Group (MPG) Capri represents the largest (in one line) residential land holding in the suburb with the multi-award winning residential project positioned on a prime 1.2- hectare site.

Construction will commence at the site in the coming weeks with demolition set to kick start the project, with 24 existing townhomes set to be demolished along with a pool and tennis court on the site formerly known as Figtree East.

The appointed builder Greyburn has over 35 years’ experience in the industry with a strong track record for delivering high quality townhouses, mid-rise residential developments, and commercial buildings including Rhythm Kirra Hill and Robina Grand.

Greyburn Director John Kearney says his team secured the project through a competitive tender process emphasising quality, experience and a collaborative approach to construction and design.

“We were attracted to this project because Capri demands the very best quality with a high level of attention to detail, and we are committed to delivering on that promise,” says Mr Kearney.

“MPG are committed to using solid materials and have based their design decisions around using materials like concrete, blockwork, and suspended concrete slabs for longevity and environmental sustainability and for this reason, Capri will represent the very best of high-end residential construction.”

Mr Kearney said that his experienced and committed team of suppliers and contractors will ensure Capri is delivered to the highest standards.

“We will work with our trusted team, many of whom we have worked with for more than 10 years to ensure Capri is built to stand the test of time,” he said.

“Capri is truly special to us as a Gold Coast-based builder. Located at the heart of the vibrant Isle of Capri, this project offers a strategic opportunity to construct 48 luxury villas. We're thrilled to contribute to the growth of our community and create homes that embody the essence of this dynamic locale.”

Architecturally designed by global practice Plus Architecture and local Gold Coast award-winning firm BDA Architecture, the luxury residential project offers a selection of two and three-level villas ranging in size from 241sqmm to 370sqm. Featuring three and four-bedroom options, all available with multi-purpose rooms, and secure double garages.

NPA Projects Director Andrew Erwin says news of Capri’s builder appointment and construction commencement is a significant milestone and is sure to please buyers before the rush of the holiday season.

“Capri is in an ideal position with approximately $70 million in sales to date,” says Mr Erwin.

“Now with construction set to commence before Christmas, buyers can be confident the muilti-award winning landmark project is underway and on track for residents to move in mid-2025.”

Capri’s strategic location, nestled near Surfers Paradise, Bundall, and Broadbeach, offers vibrant inner city living in a highly sought-after residential pocket at one of the city’s most coveted addresses. All 48 architecturally designed villas have been individually designed with their own unique personality allowing buyers to select a residence that resonates with their unique preferences.

Capri offers an exclusive gated community surrounded by world-class resort-style resident-only amenities including a pool with submerged lounge chairs, sundeck, an outdoor dining terrace, a covered barbeque area and a residents lounge complete with kitchen, bar, TV, lounge and fireplace.
