Renowned builder, Greyburn Building Contractors has set the standard high for the next wave of luxury development on the Broadwater with the unveiling of Oro (meaning Gold in Spanish) located at 502 Marine Parade, Biggera Waters.

Developers Ian and Anna Campbell from Campbell Management Pty Ltd, appointed Greyburn to construct the six -story luxury apartment building that now sits proudly in a class of its own, boasting panoramic views across the Broadwater.

Ian Campbell said building with Greyburn has been extremely rewarding and we couldn’t be more impressed with the quality of the final product and the professionalism of the team.

“We were looking for an experienced local builder who has the knowledge and expertise to build a multi storey building on a restricted site fronting the Broadwater. Like many of the sites along Marine Parade, we encountered planning restrictions that inhibited what could be built onsite, but thanks to the knowledge and experience of Greyburn we were able to navigate those issues and deliver our vision for ORO that leverages the natural attributes of its unique position whilst respecting the surrounding existing residential developments.”

Designed by local architect John Rust from Rust Architects, the vision for ORO was planned from the outside in and realises the potential of this stunning Broadwater address. ORO comprises of just four designer residences including three palatial, one per floor apartments and one penthouse that stretches across two levels.

John Kearney, Director of Greyburn said the Biggera Waters area is on the cusp of major residential rejuvenation and ORO has set the standard extremely high for new developments.

“We commenced construction in March/April 2018 and within 11 months were completed. The quality of the design and interior finishes are exceptional. The focus on embracing the outdoors has ensured that the indoor living spaces naturally interconnect with the oversized balconies offering the most spectacular views and sea-breezes. And the unique exterior façade panelling adds to the premium coastal appearance but also provides residents with ample privacy and shade. Oro Broadwater has been an exceptional project to deliver and we look forward to seeing residents move in and enjoy these beautiful apartments.”

The residences range in size from 276m2 – 302m2 and have three bedrooms each with their own ensuite, a study and expansive dining and living areas. With the living spaces aligned to the front of the building, residents will enjoy natural light and panoramic views through floor-to-ceiling glass capturing the essence of the Broadwater lifestyle.

Established in 1987, Greyburn under the leadership of Director John Kearney has extensive construction and project experience spanning across residential, retail, office, industrial and commercial projects. Oro Broadwater is one of many residential projects recently delivered by Greyburn with other projects located in Mudgeeraba, Hope Island, Coombabah and Yatala

John Kearney from Greyburn is confident in the immediate future of new residential development on the Gold Coast.

“The region is going through an interesting development phase with many land-owners looking to adjust their strategy and build new homes and apartment buildings more suited to the owner occupier market or holiday makers from interstate, rather than the historical investor market. This renewed focus on the local buyers has meant that the demand for exceptional quality construction interior finishes is high. Our team at Greyburn has built a long-standing reputation on delivering quality projects time after time on the Gold Coast and SE QLD, so we’re enjoying the current state of the market and look forward to continued growth.”
